“Birth of a Transgender Movement in Russia” is how U.S. LGBTI activist Andy Thayer entitles his Video including an interview with Anna Komarova who was brutally beaten when arrested by Moscow police at the banned gay pride event in Moscow. Thayer was one of the three international activists arrested together with Komarova as they tried to stage the unauthorized Gay pride.
I reported my exclusive breaking interview with Anna before Andy had time to land back in the U.S. as he flew back after his own experience and arrest in Moscow. Andy contacted me to congratulate me on “scooping” him before he could release this remarkable video interview with Komarova. Now we should give Andy’s video the air it deserves – make it go viral.
