Tutu Calls for Bush Blair Prosecutions | A Reminder of Romney Campaign Audacity

South Africa’s Tutu boycotts seminar in anti-Blair protest

By Melanie Nathan, September 02, 2012

While many in the United States are contemplating the possibility of another Republican led government, South African Bishop Desmond Tutu, wants to hold Republican life and thought responsible for the hundreds of thousands of preemptive deaths in Iraq.

Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Archbishop Desmond Tutu has withdrawn from a seminar in South Africa this week in protest against the presence of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and his support for war in Iraq and written an OPED in The Observer, calling for prosecutions.

The retired Archbishop, Tutu wants Blair arrested when he sets foot on South African soil. He is calling for the International criminal court to hold Blair accountable as well as former U.S. President George W. Bush, for their initiation and participation in the 2003 U.S. led invasion of Iraq. Tutu  believes this war caused a significant destabilization of the World.

“”The archbishop is of the view that Mr. Blair’s decision to support the United States’ military invasion of Iraq, on the basis of unproven allegations of the existence in Iraq of weapons of mass destruction, was morally indefensible.  “Morality and leadership are indivisible. In this context, it would be inappropriate and untenable for the archbishop to share a platform with Mr Blair,” said Tutu spokesman Roger Friedman.”

While the Romney -Ryan U.S. Presidential ticket rests its entire campaign on blaming President Barack Obama for not cleaning the Bush mess-up of the USA and its impact on the World, some of us have the intelligence to note the magnitude of the disaster and that it would take more than 8 years to fix, especially given the hurdles, such as a purposefully obstructionist Republican Congress.

Lest we forget, that everything falls to Bush and the Republicans and they must still be held accountable for the mess they now expect Obama to have already cleaned.

How dare Romney and Ryan assume Americans are THAT stupid. (Well maybe some are – time will tell!)  How dare they assume that Obama or even Jesus Christ  for that matter could begin to fix 8 years of disastrous policy, preemptive expensive war, minimal  regulation and poor governance.

It is time for the Obama campaign to regurgitate and stop digesting – Democrats have swallowed enough.

Why it takes the foreign world to do something about this makes sense because of all the antecedent problems that could have come from an Obama led prosecution of Bush, et at, some fours back. However it should NOT take foreigners to remind us of the gravity of what G.W. Bush and his Republican henchman procured, especially during this election year, when its provides face slamming truth and it should be lobbed right in  the mugs of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan who have the audacity to run a campaign on the basis of Obama not yet cleaning Bush’s mess.

Note” The U.S. does not recognize the international Criminal Court.

The US government will never do the right thing. Extermination by foreign powers against Blair, GWBunnypants and DarthEVaderCheney is the only answer.

The US Government will never do anything about this. Extermination of Blair, GWBunnypants, and DarthEVaderCheney by a foreign entity (ANY foreign entity) is the only solution to cleaning up this military mess. Let it be done!
