In their article by a certain, Meeke Addison, entitled, “TLC Trades Wholesome for Wholly Confused” – Addison asserts about TLC: ” So far it appears the purpose is to cave to the new protected class of citizens in America — those who identify as LGBT.”
Using the inane assertions through seemingly ignorant puppet Addison, AFA is furthering its anti-LGBT agenda with lies and in so doing perpetuating the bullying of this extraordinarily courageous trans teen.
Ignoring what the story of Jazz actually conveys, an eye opening lesson in love, courage and truth, AFA tries to distort the truth, in a warped attempt at scapegoating this extraordinarily brave teen.
Not only is there the purposeful disrespect by incorrect pronoun usage, as well as the flagrant misstatement of the teen’s gender identity, but the teen is scapegoated for the demise the Duggar show, while her parents are accused of abusing her though their support in pursuing her transition.
Here is this crazy assertion:

Again, according to TLC in an attempt to raise awareness about the abuse of children and so as not to offend viewers, “19 Kids” had to be cancelled. However, a 14-year-old sexually-confused boy who now lives as a hurting and rejected girl is totally fine. Chronicling the life of a little boy whose body has basically been abused by parents who administered hormone blockers for years and allowed him to dress as a girl is a better option than those wild and morally corrupt Duggars.
Yes to AFA’s way of thinking – happy teens and saving teens from possible suicide is child abuse! And those poor poor Duggars – that loving Christian family – they are the victims – and though they happen to have the stain of sexual abuse in their ranks – they have suddenly become the victim of this naughty little boy who wants to be a girl – and the entire LGBT community and their agenda!

“It’s important to note that absolutely no one in the Christian community excuses or makes light of what Josh Duggar did as a teenager. However, to characterize the entire family as sudden hypocrites or unsuitable for public viewing is, to say the least, perplexing. It almost seems as if the LGBT silence-our-opponents approach made the Duggars a target and the revelation of Josh Duggar’s past failures, as reprehensible as they were, provided the perfect opportunity to remove them from the public square.”

The Associated Press has revealed that TLC’s “19 Kids” featuring the Duggars “will no longer appear on the air,” this according to the network.
Marjorie Kaplan, group president of TLC, Animal Planet, and Velocity networks, said, “We spent the past month and a half in thoughtful consideration about what is the best way forward here.” So the network has decided to turn its focus to raising awareness about child sexual abuse. TLC also announced “an ongoing campaign” connected to this new initiative, according to the Associated Press.
One component of TLC’s overall campaign is a one-hour, commercial-free documentary slated to air in late August, according to the network. Jill Dugger-Dillard and Jessa Duggar-Seewald are reportedly participating in the documentary. Just weeks ago, in a Megyn Kelly exclusive interview on FOX News, Jill and Jessa emotionally spoke of feeling victimized by the media when police reports identifying them as victims of their brother were made public.
Since 2008, “19 Kids” had been TLC’s most watched TV show — a distinction it maintained even as the show wrapped its tenth season just before Josh Duggar’s juvenile police records were made public. However, amidst what some called a “public outcry,” TLC decided to no longer produce “19 Kids.” According to a Yahoo! article, TLC is in the midst of repositioning itself as “a brand with purpose.”

This week TLC premiered a new reality TV show titled “I Am Jazz.” It follows a transgender teen named Jazz Jennings. Many people will be familiar with Jazz’s story. Now 14, his parents allowed him to identify as a girl at age 2 and then transitioned him to a girl at age 5!
Let me just remind you at this point that TLC wants to bring awareness to child sexual abuse… so they’re cancelling the Duggars.

I almost put this story in my Ha Ha Ha category – it was THAT ridiculous. However I soon realized the seriousness of its abuse and the underlying hate. AFA and Meeke Addison are attempting to perpetuate the harm caused to children, teens and adults who happen to be transgender, with insidious accusations and a flagrant refusal to hear and understand transgender people and their journeys.
