Court Rules Lawsuit Filed by Hate Group Involving Planned Parenthood Can Go Forward

Dracus will be touting his hate at Morro Bay Golf Club House on Thursday after Court rules Lawsuit filed by him and his designated hate group, for Alpha Pregnancy Clinics, Involving Planned Parenthood, can go forward.

By Melanie Nathan, September, 15, 2015.

A Northern California judge ruled that a lawsuit by a pro-life pregnancy clinic can move forward.  The clinic is represented by Pacific Justice Institute, an SPLC affirmed hate group.

The suit alleges that a landlord breached its lease with Alpha Pregnancy Clinics in order to protect a Planned Parenthood facility in the same building from so called “competition.”  According to Alpha it is important to be located in close proximity to Planned Parenthood in order to offer a pro-life alternative and services for women and girls with crisis pregnancies.  The site is in Vacaville, California, about halfway between Sacramento and San Francisco.

Pregnancy centers such as Alpha are often accused of misleading women to believe that abortion is unsafe and some allege they use manipulative advertising to get women to visit to their clinic.  Often so called “pro-life clinics” use medical misinformation, emotional manipulation and religious doctrine to persuade women against abortion.

Perhaps it can be asserted by the Landlord that they have a duty toward the security of their tenants. Surely Planned Parenthood clients will be subject to security risks if organizations such as Alpha insist on proximity.  These types of organizations have also been accused of bullying young people seeking abortions. Furthermore  risks of physical harm are clear if such inflammatory tenancies were allowed.   In my estimation this is hardly “competition”.   That is an incorrect allegation. The ONLY competition would surely be another clinic that allowed abortions.  So it seems to me the suit may be standing on contrived grounds.

Late Monday, the Solano County Superior Court issued a tentative ruling that overruled demurrers filed by the landlord.  That ruling became final when the landlord’s attorneys chose not to ask for a hearing.   We will keep an eye on the case.

More about Brad Dacus:

Brad Dacus, president of Pacific Justice Institute, the hate group which launched the lawsuit, will be speaking to a group of Republican women Thursday at the Morro Bay Golf Course Club House. This tells you much more about the man at the helm of this lawsuit, who is well known for his anti-gay (LGBT) stance:

Pacific Justice Institute President BRAD DACUS, speculating on Dec. 12 about the impact of a possible Supreme Court ruling against the Defense of Marriage Act:

“[W]e’re basically going to have an open heyday for … polygamy, perhaps adult incest and who knows what else.”
According to GLAAD website:
 Brad DacusFacts

— While serving as a spokesperson for Prop 8, compared stopping marriage equality to stopping the Nazis: “There was another time in history when people, when the bell tolled. And the question was whether or not they were going to hear it. The time was during Nazi Germany with Adolf Hitler. You see he brought crowds of clergy together to assure them that he was going to look after the church. And one of the members, bold and courageous, Reverend Niemand made his way to the front and (inaudible) said “Hitler, we are not concerned about the church. Jesus Christ will take care of the church. We are concerned about the soul of Germany.’ Embarrassed and chagrined, his peers quickly shuffled him to the back. And as they did Adolf Hitler said, ‘The soul of Germany, you can leave that to me.’ And they did, and because they did bombs did not only fall upon the nation of Germany, but also upon the church and their testimony to this very day. Let us not make that mistake folks. Let us hear the bell! Vote on Proposition 8!”

— In one of the first cases to earn him public attention, Dacus defended a pastor who said gay people are abmoinations who deserve to be stoned to death

— Using junk science, claims that homosexuality is more dangerous than cigarette smoking: “[P]arents know that the homosexual lifestyle gives for boys an average lifespan of the age of 40. It’s worse than being a chain cigarette smoker.”

— Refers to law protecting transgender students as “hideous;” claims it will lead to “many casualties”

— Says a law designed to protect transgender students will turn CA schools “into a horror film”

— Prays for LGBT people to be freed from “Satan’s dominion”

— His organization fabricated a story about a transgender teenager harassing other students; when story broke, Dacus accused those challenging his organization’s version of events of “trying to supress the truth”

— Asserts that marriage equality for same-sex couples could lead to incestuous unions: “If the Supreme Court rules that the Defense of Marriage Act is unconstitutional and that the definition of marriage as between one man and one woman is unconstitutional, then we’re basically going to have an open heyday for homosexual marriage as well as other kinds of ‘marriage’ being introduced and being protected through this case law precedent, such as polygamy, perhaps adult incest and who knows what else will be attempted to be added on.”

Morro Bay Gold Club— Equates LGBT-inclusive curriculum with bullying, writing: Most parents do not want their first through fifth graders bombarded with pro-homosexual messages at school. If LGBT advocates really want to stop name-calling and bullying, they should start with themselves.”

— Claims that by fighting for a marriage system that discriminates against same-sex couples, he is “fighting for the soul of Western civilization”

— Launched website called “GenderInsanity.com,” which fights transgender protections in schools and gay inclusion in Boy Scouts; says of the site: “Forcing boys and girls to share bathrooms, locker rooms and sleeping arrangements is not equality; it is insanity.”

— Says if America is to remain compassionate and loving, “then we’re not going to want to salute something that is so dangerous and so destructive statistically to so many people who decide to engage in it.”

— A strong supporter of scientifically-discredited “ex-gay” therapy, claims that over 80% of those who enter into this kind of therapy ultimately “change”: “I know it’s at least over 80%, I believe it’s 80-85% success rate. These are people who leave the lifestyle, get married to people, have children, and enter heterosexual relationships. It’s a big mass of deception that they are trying to carry out at the expense of many hundreds of thousands or millions of youths who will be led down a path of death and destruction, unfortunately, if they get away with this”

— Claimed a law designed to limit scientifically-discredited “ex-gay” counseling is “a gross and outrageous violation against humanity”

— Co-authored (with his wife) a document called “Reclaim Your School,” which is strongly geared toward stopping LGBT acceptance in public schools

— Says LGBT leaders lead kids “into a path of death and destruction” (@ 14:30)

— Claims LGBT History month is meant to make society and kids “numb” about “the lifestyle” of homosexuality; adds that the month is meant to “market homosexuality as acceptable, valid lifestyles”

— Falsely claimed that LGBT History month “promotes gay porn to kids”

— Warns of the “flooding” of marriage-bound gays: “Massachusetts becomes the ‘sicker patient in the hospital,’ by far, if we in California are successful in amending our state constitution as, once again, between one man and one woman,” said Dacus. “Massachusetts will then be the place, instead of California, where homosexual couples fly to…get married….[T]hat’s just a major leak in the dam that’s got to be patched up…if we’re going to keep a major flooding of the homosexual agenda from being poured out on all the states across the country,” he warns.

— Fought law designed to protect LGBT people from hate crimes (the same way others, including religious people, are protected), calling it “unjust,” “unneccesary,” and “unwise”

— Served as counsel for a parent who tried to have a public school teacher fired simply because she led a classroom discussion on the coming-out episode of the TV show Ellen

  1. The latest statistics the CDC has is that men who have sex with men account for two-thirds of new infection of HIV and that they are the only group where syphilis is on the increase.

The CDC is a hate group.

    1. The CDC reports show that the men in question are probably not practicing safe-sex. The report also shows that the most at-risk age group (for men & women) was 20- 29– that age when you think you’re invincible. Still, they should know better & that’s a shame.

      1. Age 20-24 is before the brain has fully developed, they instinctively want to fertilize turds. The CDC should be condemned, truth silenced, equality embraced! Just like what happened with the culture-free and unbiased Raven’s Progressive Matrices proving that blacks have genetically lower IQ scores, no one hears about it!

    Another hate monger…

  3. Closet-cases are always desperate for any law which might protect them from themselves. They tend to hang around & post on LGBT sites a lot- maybe to shore-up their dwindling reserves (losing the grip keeping that closet door shut?). They also spend insane amounts of time thinking about same-sex sex, like way more than LGBT people think about it. That’s always creeped me out. I’ve never looked at other people & attempted to image sex…I also never seem to see issues with LGBT from sexuality-secure guys. Funny how that works.
