Help “PROJECT KNOW” VIDEO got Viral AGAINST THE MINNESOTA MARRIAGE AMENDMENT
By Melanie Nathan, September 05, 2012.
A group of Minnesotans against the Minnesota Marriage Amendment, have come together to form “Project Know.” Fighting for the freedom of LGBT citizens and using the power of social media, the group is urging people to “know to VOTE NO on November 6”.
On September 4th, Project Know released a video featuring a community of partners, parents and grandparents sharing why voting NO supports ALL families. They argue for strong family values and for the need to create a welcoming and supportive environment for all Minnesota families, regardless of type of family. They are hoping that their commercial video will spread virally through social media, e-mail blasts and newsletters to help defeat that the Minnesota Marriage Amendment.
The Minnesota Marriage Amendment seeks to alter the Minnesota Constitution to define marriage as between a man and a woman only.
Project Know seeks to ensure that people understand and are clear as to what the word “NO” means when the vote and that if people vote NO they are in essence voting for same-sex marriage rights as a Constitutional right. Hence this clarifies for voters what a “No” vote means a vote for ALL Minnesota families. Voters can be confused by the double negative of the marriage amendment and the commercial explicitly addresses this issue.
“Project Know” includes local artists, social justice activists, faith-based leaders and 15 caring families.

I love that you covered this. As a Minnesota resident, it is going to be a hard amendment to beat. It is also a deceitful amendment, many people are under the impression that the amendment is to legalize gay marriage when it is really to ban it. So, many gay friendly people think they are supposed to vote yes.
Hopefully this video will get a lot of exposure
So inpiring :)
