This outrageous, senseless act of violence comes during Pride month when LGBTQ people around the world are celebrating the progress we’ve mad towards achieving peace and equality for all. It impacts all of us. This year more than 200 anti-LGBT bills have been introduced in legislatures throughout this country, with 6 here in Washington specifically targeting our trans community – and the political attacks have continued.
Please join us tonight at Cal Anderson Park Seattle at 8pm for a vigil in memory of those we’ve lost in Orlando.
We will be joined by Mayor Ed Murray and other elected officials, the Seattle Gay Men’s Course, and local LGBTQ and Faith Leaders.

ISRAEL: Zion Square, Jerusalem
Tonight, members of the gay community will gather in Zion Square to mourn the massacre in Orlando targeting the LGBT community and the values of Western liberal democracy. At this time, when our hearts break and tears flow like rain, we must double our efforts spread love… And it is not enough to only come out when something terrible happens. We must come out over and over again in the interim times, to do the work of opening hearts and minds…
