“What about kids who are sexually molested early on and as a result have homosexual and cross-dressing feelings?”
By Cathy Kristofferson, December 29, 2013
Brian Camenker, founder of MassResistance the “other” SPLC-designated hate group of Massachusetts, recently jetted down to Jamaica to spread anti-gay lies & hate in what is already dubbed the “world’s most homophobic country.” As we have reported here on OBLOGDEE, homophobia has been raging in Jamaica for a while but has become more extreme following a lawsuit brought to repeal the country’s colonial era anti-sodomy (buggery) law.
Camenker claims to have been the main speaker at the Jamaican Coalition for a Healthy Society (JCHS) event to celebrate International Human Rights Day. OBLOGDEE reported on the JCHS anti-gay conference featuring American and British bigots, including Peter LeBarbera of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH), held the previous weekend here.
Taking a page from his BFF Scott Lively the leader of “the” anti-gay hate group of Massachusetts, Camenker warned the live and national radio audiences of the “gay agenda” slippery slope sure to follow should the buggery law be repealed claiming:
“the progression that followed once homosexuality was legalized everywhere else — and would surely happen in Jamaica. After legalization comes: gay pride parades; non-discrimination laws; homosexuals’ adoption of children; the homosexual agenda in schools; forcing ‘gay marriage’ on society; public funding to deal with increased homosexual-related social problems; the transgender agenda; large-scale loss of free speech; ban on counseling for kids with homosexual issues; and attacks on churches.”
Everywhere else. Right. Camenker claimed his message was well received (by the choir):
“The Jamaicans told us over and over again that MassResistance’s message was exactly what they needed to fuel this battle.”
I’ve heard Camenker “speak” in person first hand. An exciting speaker he is not. He’s not even an exciting reader. Though he does have the audacity to quote Martin Luther King Jr.
Here are a few of the lies Camenker told those Jamaican audiences:
“What about kids who are sexually molested early on and as a result have homosexual and cross-dressing feelings?”
“Even though the overwhelming violence comes from gays themselves in privacy”
“But it’s ultimately about tyranny, and an increase of diseases, and the loss of your freedoms”
And yes Brian, as you say, “It’s madness”. And my question remains – how do we stop you and the other U.S. hate groups from spreading your vile lies abroad stoking the already raging bonfires of hate & homophobia?

It appears no-one in Jamaica (or in Russia or in the Middle East or in Africa, or most of Asia) is challenging these hucksters at the point where their lies are being spread. What’s worse, their local media are fuelling the mendacity with an agenda of their own.
I’ve chatted through Facebook Messenger with some of these people, and they REFUSE to read any links to scientific rebuttal of their absurd claims, while being happy to post links to their own FRC and NARTH sites and selectively quote their translation of the Bible. Their minds are made up, closed to any contrary evidence.
Only the law and public education can effectuate change over the coming centuries. The present and next generation are sadly lost. I don’t suggest giving up for a second, only that a lot of dialogue is needed with church hierarchy and lawmakers out of the glare of the media spotlight.

Exporting hate is an evil that I hope courts find repugnant.

Jamaica …. another hateful place!!
Concerning your article about the Jamaican Coalition for a Healthy Society and its position on same-sex culture. They would gain a huge advantage in their quest to understand the argument found in the eBook manuscript “Land of Diminished Distinctions” supporting traditional family values. To argue Biblical ideologies with those who are not subject to the bible is futile. Organizations upholding traditional family values globally must adopt more effective rhetoric in place of the usual attempts at suggesting a theocratic state which causes their opponents to typecast them as mere religious fanatics without true wisdom. “Land of Diminished Distinctions” presents a secular position based on a sociological platform rather than one of a faith-based nature.
